Re:
You do organize things well Sam. You should be like my second brother. Once he gave my my baby brother a present for his birthday, the little chap was so surprised as second brother was not well known for his generosity at that time. Hearing his little cries of appreciation second brother said that will do for your Christmas present as well.

CHIFFCHAFF
Wonderful memoir old chap and it must have been hell there in the war.My mother received letters from Manchester from her sister Angela and their mother. Gran never would go into the shelter, she stayed under the dining room table and said; "It is solid British made and will support everything."

I am with her, I would sit it outside too! How awful that a spider was at the bottom of the milk! And on the panda, I am kind of doing a similar thing for my oldest son's birthday! He is a musician of a sort and I had purchased a harmonica, on sale, to give to him for Christmas when my daughter told me that he wanted one for his birthday! So I have taken off the gift wrap for Christmas and will now give it to him on Sunday for his birthday! Just when you think you are ahead of the game so to speak, something invariably comes up! Oh well, he will still like it no matter what holiday it appears on! My ex delivered milk when he was a teenager! sam

We did not have one either, we lived close enough to the Rocky Mountains that my father thought we could go there instead...at least we would of been outside where a proper hole could have been dug, radiation or not..
