Kabu, I hope by now the first cold front has gone through your area....
We had t'storms all last evening, but now it is just clody and one can feel the "coolness" (nice)...and another cold front is due to go through this afternoon setting up a nice week ahead of sunny skies and temps in the 70's.
..lol, with it cooling down, one can only imagine the adventures you and Wiley will tackle.

Your ambition and outdoor work in the face of heat and humidity
makes me feel lazy and maybe a bit cowardly. However, I know the stubborn impulse that leads us to have our way with gateposts or stumps -- anything that exists where we don't want it to be. I'm glad Wiley's okay and that his glasses are still usable. Hugs to you both!

No I won't think of hiring your gang Kabu you might dig up my gate post. I think I would have sawn it off, but I suppose you are both perfectionists. I'll wait until the next post to read of your aches and pains I know they will come because I hammered some posts in with a sledge hammer Thursday and two days later ow! oh! . I know what you two need is a reality show. That is so funny, particularly as we are invisioning it each in a different way. You are a nurse and he is old enough to know better than to dig up anything from under the ground in this heat. Satan is getting mighty close to the ground when things get this hot anyway. George and I have laughed our selves silly over this. It is great.

SO FUNNY , I CAN JUST SEE YOU TWO, HOT AND HUMID HERE TOO, BUT AS I SPEAK IT IS ACTING LIKE IT IS GOING TO STORM, I AM IN THE PROCESS OF BUILDING A NEW PATIO, I JUST WENT OUT A FEW MOMENTS AGO TO RETRIEVE SOME WOOD I HAD LEFT LAYING IN THE YARD AND JUST ABOUT JUMPED OUT OF MY SKIN WHEN I REACH DOWN TO PICK THEM UP AND A BIG OLD TOAD FROG JUMPED ON ME, I HOPE NO ONE HEARD ME, IT'S FUNNY NOW BUT NOT QUITE AS FUNNY AT THE TIME.
