I used to test every egg we sold over lights Adnohr the old the hen the more faults in the eggs watery whites little spots etc. 5000 hens at one stage we used to send a lot of the dodgy ones to the egg packers, sadly every one wanted large eggs I don't know why and double yolks if they could get them.

I didn't know that about eggs either. Hmmm - and I was raised on a farm...one would have thought...ah, well, never mind. Like these posts about the way it was!

people talk about the hard times of today...as they buy another new

electronic gaget to replace the old fashioned thing from last year.

You knew hard times, my parents knew hard times....I can remember catching and selling rabbits to buy food.
