It seems to me that all of your past weeks and months are before your very eyes; like any artist, reality is your canvass upon which you create a beautiful and restful work of art.

Rocks are beautiful in their own respect and look glam with flowers and gardens. Good break. Hope mama bear stays her distance and is friendly, she might like some honey, but I doubt she is intersested in tea!

Kabu, I think we have much in common, My daughter and son-in-law just moved into an older home with property and lots of rocks. The previous owner must have been a miner because there are samples of copper ore, iron ore and many others. The place is a rock hound's paradise, and like you I gather them to put in my rock garden where I grow herbs (the kind you eat) that, and the idea that we both have gnomes scattered about the place. It took me the longest time to get my wife used to the idea, but she smiles when she sees them now, and of course that makes me nervous somehow.

It is amazing what you do with rocks Kabu... I have seen those pictures. It is so sad summer is so short and it seems to be getting shorter as I grow older... but Fall has its own beauty and I do love those colors Nature seem to give us as a consolation prize for taking away the flowers... Don't work too hard darling xoxoxo

You have such an affinity for rocks I have to wonder if you spent some time in Australia making little ones outta big ones.

Oh say it isn't so! (that summer is racing to a close). We had such a later start on this side that I'm hoping September will be as beautiful as August has been. Wishful thinking, perhaps.....

Bears are okay at a d i s t a n c e -- and this isn't the season
for cubs, but they're still carnivores and I wouldn't be surprised if they'd find a sweet and juicy Aussie girl a welcome snack....
