Re:
Let me think Taps firstly I rub my feet with at present a tube of gunge which I thought was half price at 4 pounds sterling, but the girl did not realize that in the chemist and charged me 8 pounds. It is like cold cream I was going to massage my knees with it but I think it is beauty cream. Right next I search for my socks being careful not to slip on the cream. So I put my socks on first and have a shave and then look for my slippers.

Tell me, do you put on a sock and a sock, and a shoe and a shoe, when you dress?
Or do you put on a sock and a shoe and a sock and a shoe?

I had trouble sometimes getting a bath in the 60's and being told that
i was a spoilt fussy little thing......in the UK. Well i was spoilt but Aussies do like to bathe...but we only got one twice a week when I was a kid. Me first,,then sis then Mother and yes Dad last of all. Otherwise it was a wash.
You give me great memories with your terrific writing here.
