Actually, she has passed on, in '89. The 6th, of this month, would have been her 100th birthday.

Even 50 years later, I Love Lucy is still getting laughs. Those episodes are timeless. Alot of female comics are/were inspired by her. One of my favorite episodes is with her & her partner in crime, Ethel, at the candy factory. Just wanted to let you know, I sent you an email. It's quite lengthy.

Lucy was one of the best!
Being also a Three Stooges and Marx Brothers fan, many people may not realize that she cut her comedic teeth with these giants of yesteryear. Check out the Three Stooges classic short entitled "Three Little Pigskins," and you'll spot a very young, and very blonde, Lucy. Then check her out in the Marx Brother's movie "Room Service" where, although not necessarily playing a very humorous role, was a very prominent character nonetheless. My personal favorite I Love Lucy is the episode where, while in California, she and Ethel are visited by a very wild and crazy Harpo Marx. Pure television magic!

She is one of my favorites of all time! I loved the trouble she and Ethel used to get into, so funny! Shelly
