oh my what a horror story, I hope it was Verizon. They are about to strike if they dont get what they want. That is where I worked for 12 years, but now I dont use any of their services but have Time Warner. Sorry to hear all this.

we check all our bills very carefully maybe it was a mistake
maybe they had old informstion that they forgot to update.....maybe it was a scam. These days who does one trust.

I recently read an article on the charges on telephone bills that were never authorized! So, I personally don't think this is an accident! If per chance Ray was contacted and even if he said he wasn't interested they could have gone ahead and did what they did! I get calls all the time saying I had requested information via the Internet or someone in my household (which is hilarious because I live alone) and I haven't a clue as to how they got me! And it is usually directed at a home owner, since I rent I get a second chuckle! The bottom line is that these companies who bill through the
TELEPHONE COMPANY do little about it since it is a 2 billion $ per year business that the
TELEPHONE COMPANY gets a cut from! The Feds are now investigating the practice, because in a word it is
ILLEGAL! I believe that is one of the main reasons it was so difficult to get to the right department to have it corrected! So, I would read every page of the phone bills, even if it takes a magnifying glass to read the fine print! Your company may be getting billed for things it has never authorized! But, I am truly happy it worked out and you are up and running again! sam
