History is rich with many excellent shows. Most of the television shows that I have mentioned in my blogs are from that channel.

Well Amanda if you mean Maize as opposed to wheat which is mainly grown here I think I have an intolerance to that. I feed birds just because they are outside the window and do you know the pigeons are becoming more fussy, they try to get the little birds' food of sunflower hearts in preference to the wheat. Yesterday was a lucky day for a goldfinch it was feeding and my sister who called in said look that little bird is not moving. I had a look and it had been trapped by seed slipping down, It was a job to remove it but eventually I did and it flew off.So I have discarded that feeder. Thank you for your cards.

Corn is a wonderful food item, except for people who are allergic to it. All the years that I cooked for my allergy-prone son I had to search through food labels for any kind of corn product such as corn starch, corn syrup, corn meal, corn flower, etc. There were so many products that were ruined for him by corn.

That's a shame, Amanda! Corn is my absolute favourite vegetable. Have a wonderful weekend!
