I liked how he remembered his aunty saying to take a walk, so he did! I could visual it all and that made for a special read! sam

Taps he showed kindness to his children. The  usual would have been a drop of kerosene which seems a bit iffy, but who knows what they feel now with sprays. Perhaps Dad took them up the road and threw them into the ditch, I would have used the first method but now I would be a ditch man.

When I was little, my dad used to have my sister and I pull the caterpillars off of the greenbeans in the garden and put them in a fruitjar.  I never was quite sure what he did with them after he gave us our nickle to walk to the store and get a Valomilk or some Walnettoes for our efforts.
