Well, with all your talents, there must be something you could do to pick up some extra cash. Maybe short story ebooks. You are one of the best storytellers I have ever read. I miss Cherry Girl, she was good too. I liked both of your stories about Australia.

I am of the opinion that government should be voluntary work and civil service a punishment for crime... it would lower tax bills and be more appropriate than the current system (after all, at the moment civil servants have almost no way of getting out)

Kabu Well you will do as more good mowing your lawn than many will do spouting hot air. I hope that you are making compost with those mowings, I would not want to know that all your energy is being wasted, we get cheap compost bins so we may enrich the soil. Report to my office immediately.

I agree with the general consensus of the comments you received here... You travel all the time my friend... to places we all wish we could go to, whether you have been there or you have imagined them your descriptions are so vivid that you transport us in first class and give us the smoothest of rides there. I for one thank you for all I have learned reading you... the beauty of Australia, the loveliness of Canada and the magical whimsical land of the Gnomes... all I now know thanks to you and the marvelous imagination fueled trips of your pen.
