I loved the choice of vitamin----viagra! lol He might not be up to par but he still likes to cuddle! I liked the progression for it felt so real! Well done C.C.! So sorry I am sooooooooo far behind on reading you, and it's that way with so many I read! Today is my day to catch up! I seem to have things under control at my place although it has been a long three days! The weather is cooling for the next 10 day and I must admit it is a welcome relief! We rarely get a break in July so I am going to take it! sam

Re:
I am glad that you like it Justi it is just a gentle story of things that have happened in villages I have known. Nothing sensational, just people. Thank you so much.

Re:
OH, yes EE who would be the cook my Grampy used to boil tripe for his greyhounds and it was so terrible for me when I was small that I would run past the hovel door from which the smell emanated, I did not think of holding my breath I suppose. Steak and kidney pie now that was something else with rich brown gravy and a soft pie crust. I think Momma had the wrong kidneys, that did not sound inviting. Since Mad cow well.

Re: CHIFFCHAFF
Bill it is less diffucult than writing a good poem believe me, the only thing is one has to be careful not to bring too many characters in at once and I am quilty here of not describing them. I did write this many years ago and have pages to sort through it seemed a shame to burn them. Cheers

I imagine it was hard to raise a family on the 5 pounds - this brings poignancy, a serious note or two and therefore, history to share. (Cloey and the description: voluptuous like a nice sofa )
You reminded me here ChCh of the time my Mamma was going to make a kidney pie --- and when she boiled the kidneys…well, when Daddy got home we all went out to eat a burger … whoa - I have never tasted kidneys nor kidney pie…now, deer meat once in a minced meat pie. That was quite tasty. I wonder of this kidney pie? And I must admit I giggled a bit (as a voyeur) with Herbert and Maude’s libido talk - This is quite a story and most interesting to watch, um, review and please, ChCh write on!!! E.E.
