ah but there's no end...only a beginning - this tale shared so much history and of the beauty and Love that still is here with all humanity today...Those children, free from fear and hunger - this really touches my heart and thank you thank you dear Kabuski for sharing your history of Jilly. xoxoxo Connie Elyse

Jillie proved to be a wonderful gnome, looking after those little girls...As always I enjoy your gnome tales.

A beautiful story, and I agree with TAPS. I love an ending that makes me smile, and encourages me to continue the fantasy if I want to. A Kabu story!!

Kabu you could have gone on and on but I know how difficult it is to write from scratch each day, it was a brilliant effort well done.

Wonderful story and wonderful ending that seemed no ending at all because it leaves room for imaginating all kinds of things.

Marvelous writing that just drew me in to snuggle in the quilts and read to those l'il kids. You have a sweet talent that children would love to read whatever you write love.

An absolutely beautiful little story. You write wonderfully--this was a children's story and a political pronouncement on the evil of governments and wars and prejudices. It was outstanding for all, Mom, Dad and the children. You are so good at this.

You are truly a talented writer Kabu... Your stories, this one in particular, are full of life, as if they were descriptions of something you had witnessed in real time rather than the marvelous imaginings of your gifted mind. Bravo my friend... xoxoxo

What a lovely ending! I adore it when others take care of the less fortunate and give them a purpose and a reason to go forward! A very nice story of survival that I can liken to events of the day! sam
