Not so odd I think, at least not any moreso than anywhere else.
You write so well of the happenings and conversations of everyday life.  I love reading your works.

Re:
EE. This has been like your stories probably a pile of pages written by a typewriter more as an escape from reality at the time. Of course I knew these people if not in the same way as one would feature them and I know Tom would not mind. I did call him Sam but I thought I might get a rebuke.

Re: I feel like i am sitting in a pub listening to village yarns ...laughter,
Kabu beleive me it has changed out of recognition, but I remember a Yank sitting on a seat outside an old country pub. He looked up at the sky as a massive plane passed over, remember I was only a boy. He was a soldier, he said to me in a blurred voice "This modern World."   An old lady ran the pub and an old chap from the nearby village made bread in an oven. he then delivered it on a bycycle. The loo was round the back poo!

Oh ChCh, you've outdone yourself - You have been writing a storm.  I so like this - from title to end, I want more and found it deliciously entertaining. It's thoughtful you write history of another.  Cotswold UK, Cosant ah, I would so love to visit this countryside ChCh - one day, I have it on my 'bucket' list to travel to UK - Switzerland, Germany et al. Now, Tom was a character.  What a hoot he must have been all his living days. (I liked the chatter in the background even when Bluey gave a big laugh at Tom's description of himself as a 'gentleman' LOL - that was good ~  I'm thinkin' Ms. Mirable Perkins would have had a fright (and embarrassment) - Aww, so no more 'gardenin'' - yes seems like an impression was made - Oh I am liking this way of writing of yours,

find me impressed - ChCh.  I hope you write more. ~ E.E.
