Hey, Kabu - I'm back and glad to be reading about you. I'm happy when it crashes and booms and hails out when I'm NOT on the road! Yes, it is comforting in the safety of one's own home. And I do smile when it rains out, too - not because I was raised on a farm, but because I love being warm and dry while the world gets a bath......Mal

My cat Charles "Digby" XIV has a very similar look ....
When I learn how to use blogit to full capacity (once again with all the changes) I will add a photo of my (I think) Russian Blue which I adopted from the local shelter as a kitten .... just beautiful ...

I think Mr Graysome doesn't like the hail or crash of storm? Awwww

that is too adorable...and LOL about the 'old man snoring" LOL --- you two are too cute. Love y'all and enjoy the beauty of Nature and Creation no matter badger, crow, hawk - that thing, what was it? an otter? - no matter - you are the fairy Queen ~ xoxoxo Connie Elyse

So, I see Graysome has a twin!! He must have had an exhausting day to be laid out like that! Being in another picturesque place must bring back a lot of golden memories.

I made a comment last month that I wouldn't mind if it rained every other day and was hot on the alternate day. So, the summer is like that here, but not too hot, and it rains every few days a little. It's a mild summer so far and still green. It needs to get hot here though, so the farmers' wheat ripens and they can harvest. :)

I find it amazing at times how fast the weather can change. One never knows what to expect next.

I enjoy rain, but not clouds, and I really do like to let nature water the garden when I can

I agree, Kabu - love the sound of rain on the tin roof, and the thought of farmers being happy. A great post again - lovely and warm to read. Mr. G.'s sprawl is just too funny!!

Kabu and the cat...
Our gray cat (Grayson) could be a twin to that guy, only he likes to curl up in his cat bed on the couch.

Love your posts and how you can connect all the way back to the farm and mum and dad, the crops, the animals and all.I loved putting this place together for you even when I didn't know at the time it was for you and that one day I'd say I love you.
