It seems everyone I know is living a too-fast-life. I need things to slow down for me. It probably won't happen unless I do something about it.
My sister says she is either working or lazy. That's how I feel a lot. When I work, I work hard. But then when I'm home I'm tired so I don't do anything really. Reading the Bible more is a good solution for everything I think. If I do that, maybe some of these puzzles will be solved.

Meaty blog here Justi and made me think...

Justi - and a good thing is that technology can also bring us the Bible - I like how I can pull up any verse and I like the new nookie things or you know those ebook kindle nooks - I have one, just don't know how to use it yet LOL --- but I can download books now and yes, I will find time to do that in between --- here there and everywhere. I agree we all need to take TIME and breathe - always have felt that - even in my youth. I appreciate your invite here and your suggestion and I will read TAPS as soon as I catch up here on your blog. When I'm away I miss so much - seems like.
You know years ago I did not have a TV - in our home...we were part of a belief system that you shouldn't have one - and so, we didn't. And now, I have my Grandchildren being raised not to be entertained by TV -
- Now, again, when I was younger I would always enjoy the 'silence' - being from 10 siblings you can imagine why? LOL --- I once entertained the thought of becoming a 'cloistered' Nun.
- imagine that. Oh yes, I probably could learn that discipline and spend time only in prayer. Oh that would be Heaven to me but, I don't have that luxury...So instead I write - I listen - I react - respond - relate and well, you get the gist. This technology helps me speak - more than I probably would in person...if you met me. I pray constantly - in my heart - always. I leave my Heart open to God ~ for God.
My TV is often on - with the weather station most times or if I feel up to entertainment, it's on the old black and whites. I have tried all the others and quite frankly - I see enough of real life to scare me enough. Truly. and sometimes, to be frank, the only times I can read the Bible and the Holy Scripture is by reading some of the blogs here.
All in all, enjoy your cooking, your relating with George above all and some peaceful time out. It's a good thing, I know. So good to read you again Justi and thank you for reading my blogs ~ Connie Elyse xoxoxo

It's amazing how much time we devote ourselves to our electronic technology.

Oh, Oh! at least let us know how your new plan works for you. I suspect you'll eventually want to find a way to balance new life plan with old cyber life, or, your computer will complain.

. I'm missing my computer too - it seems I don't even have time to sit and write or hardly read anymore. Bless you too, dear Justi!

A very good decision. I am really trying hard to wean myself away from technology. I have been discovering the early morning again as a quiet (except for the birds) time.
