Thank you Kabu. I have to let him have his say or he will jump into my bed and snore. I agree it did seem against the law of nature.

I am sending you some of our sunshine. We are having a wonderful day since the heat has dropped a bit. It has been in the high 90ºs for weeks. Too hot in early June. Be blessed and declare this a day or rest or writing and a rainy day is always good for a long nap.

These are cheerful little guys about 5inches tall I was going to give them away but thought they would fill some containers. It is quite dreary here today just tiny splashes of rain now and then.
UNCLE Albert's view
I saw something funny today and in future I ought to carry a camera a store not far away has gone into liquidation it sold a lot of gardening products and is being take over by another firm. I looked at some little gnome like people and then to my amazement I saw about thirty caricatures of gnome ladies. They were all dressed in very plain clothing one carried a basket and one was waving her hand. They had evidently been modeled at one stage from the original Gnomes who had joined the Nunnery. Sadly they were being offered at only twenty percent reduction and I am more into elves as they are not so frumpy. If however there is final knockdown of prices and they are cheap I might be persuaded if only to redeem my reputation. Due to my great age and wooden leg I think I should have the last word on this matter.
