Fancy Shmansy....in other words NO. Just something to massage with as you say.....Dove cream is good and cheap...in this country anyway. If you find the expensive stuff...use it up I suppose.

Thank you for your advice I think it is the massage that does the trick I have got two tubes of expensive lotion somewhere but is it any better?

Roses
These are last years miniature roses coming into flower much larger than before, they are fairly easy to overwinter a bit of fleece if it is very cold. Of course I planted them in larger pots. I have been on the lookout for some but apparently they are expensive at this time of the year. I like yellow in roses, but it not so good if the leaves are grotty. Goodness I had a job to get up the stairs last night my knee sockets were nearly falling out. It must have been pulling my big mower back each time I came to a tree. I was afraid to go back downstairs to find some ointment so I found a tub of vaseline and massaged  each knee joint. I found I was cured by morning so I lifted some tubs of strawberries outside before it came back again. I must put things in smaller tubs and use the machine for straight runs. I have a powerful strimmer a four stroke, those two strokes emit too many fumes. I wish I had bought a lighter model but I was younger last year or more foolish. We are having well my brother calls in and cooks a meal if he is hungry so we had stewed strawberries, I am trying to use up last years blackcurrants as the new-crop will soon be ready. I don't think I will bother with gooseberries. I have two nice little thornless blackberry bushes there are plenty along the lanes but I don't fancy them with the car fumes  and dust. Just a thought a neighbor called as I was  busy and i could not understand what she was talking about so as my hearing aid was working I popped it in my ear and it was like a pneumatic drill but I could understand her, so  had to make a cup of tea and listen to the latest news. Life is not all cream and cherries.
