Well a good job the price of wool went up Kabu it was tough going before that and yet it must have been worse here or folk would not have emigrated.

I know a bit rude Justi but I thought of it one day when I saw a man who I knew as a little boy. He always wiped his nose on his sleeve, you don't see that these days.

Well I was brought up to wipe my snotty little nose on rags that mother
tore up from old undies. If you were lucky you got a nice piece of a singlet.....if not well......one made do with a tough bit of undies!!!!!
handkerchiefs were for Sunday school only ....until one went to boarding school of course.
