This reminds me of the Farmer's Market. Something about the brilliant green excites the senses and relaxes the muscles around my eyes. Very nice.

A lady asked me how to cook lettuce, well this is how someone I know cooks them. Nob of butter in pan. Lettuce washed and leaves parted popped into the pan as soon as it starts boiling wait aprox two minutes strain off liquid and toss lettuce in mayanaise or similiar I like it, but I think one would have to experiment and not burn the pan these lettuce are full of juice freshly cut, a supermarket lettuce might have less moisture content I suppose there is some water on the leaves after washing. No compensation given for burnt pans sorry.
