Lo Sam we notice it on annual priced buys. Look at bread mostly over 1 pound sterling a loaf, it keeps creeping up throw a few seeds on top another few dollars.

THe miniature roses that I overwintered are coming into bloom. I have been waiting to see if the market man acquires any, but he told me they were too expensive at the moment. Yesterday he had a 2 floribunda roses I didn't really want one of those because I was experimenting on the little ones. So I started moaning "I've never paid that much for a rose before.' '6 pounds he said because you are a gentleman.' A bit of old flannel I thought but it three big buds and was a pink one. So I handed him a tenner, 'Take the full price.' I said suddenly ashamed of my meanness. 'No a deals a deal, you asked nicely some folk just demand it and I say bogger off.'
