Re:

Hi FSI,

That is completely understandable. Would you mind if we kept in touch?

Yes, it can be challenging, but part of the pleasure is in meeting the
challenge, I guess...

I have found the public to be challenging at times...I did get your e-mail but in order to maintain my anonymity I do not join Facebook groups. Thanks for the invite though.

No one is always right.  But, it is good to try to appease the customer as much as possible if we want and need customers.

I think there are just grumpy people in this world and nothing will make them satisfied! sam

The public is so very difficult to work with

Everyone has bad days, and sometimes it seems like all of those ones end up on your doorstep.

Congrats to your sister!  I'm not familiar with Toastmasters, or don't remember if you have mentioned it?

"Rudeness is the small man's imitation of power."
As soon as someone gets rude, they are on losing ground, and advertising how powerless they really feel.

Most of my working life has been in customer service. I always try to be pleasant when I'm the customer(even when I'm having a bad day), because, I know they often deal with rude people & I want to lighten their load a bit.
