I like your perspective on the bulbs and critters. I too had that problem and gave up planting bulbs several years back. I may begin again and enjoy those that survive the chipmunk banquet. I do miss the daffodils of Spring!

Your attitude is wonderful, Dear Kabu!
If only it were universal!

I have some tiny plants in a window box; started them from seedlings. Jelly bean tomatoes and mild peppers. Can't wait to get 'em in the ground. The daffodils are in full bloom here and lovely.

I have attempted to plant any of my flowers or vegs yet. I have managed to clear the space of weeds and sticks. I will wait until Mother Nature gives me the thumbs up! Have a great Monday!

I never did have a green thumb, and have resorted to silk flowers
for this one hanging basket. My tomato last year gave me three that were about the size of a small egg, which made each one cost (in plant and fertilizer only) about $5. Not exactly the great home-grown flavor I'd hoped for.

I suppose you could have one of those cheap little plastic greenhouses Kabu and take it take down in the Autmn but it would have to be well pegged down if it is windy at times or even a frame, but it is all work and maybe you will have no joice but to adapt to the conditions.

Everyone is talking planting, and out here in the bush, there is not a spot of grass uncovered by snow yet. I guess we're retarded....(

). You are sweet to offer, Kabu, and yes - I would say you could expect a call after the 14th.
