If you have pinks in pots Kabu and don't let them get wet they are hardy they don't mind the cold but I always cover mine with a bit of fleece when it is severe I bet I could keep them in your porch if there was no other joice.

Yes the are of the dianthus family Taps but most of these are scented those one buy in bunches are usually carnations which I have some hopefully scented, but not commercial types.
