No prob. Jay look when you have time I don't wipe them off for about 3 weeks. Yes I love those violets but they need the right sort of house conditions which your Mum probably discovered. Some folk just get the knack of tending to particular flowers, your Mum had the gift. Thank you for looking.

well we can always learn Sam, the trouble is gardening is being treated as a hobby and made to look mysterious by growing things upside down yes it is a fact. Or in boxes which give good results if one can afford to produce the veggies etc. perhaps you should get your primroses later in the year they would not appreciate the hot summer weather. There are some real hardy strains but they all need a bit of protection to get blooms in winter.

Sorry I missed posting on you blog but I have been working on a patent so I went back and checked out the ones I missed and just love them all. They remind me of my mother and all the plants she kept in the house and was so proud of. She used to grow African Violets among others, but it was the Violets she loved the most...Thanks C.C. for being so kind in your comments, I do appreciate it so.
