That could be it, Kabu. Besides the ordinary post-winter blues, there's alot of sad stuff all over the news lately. Maybe we're all trying to catch our breath.

that's funny about Mr. Graysome changing his mind
about going outside

. And you are right about
everything being electronic, sometimes I go inside
to a local convenience store to buy coffee or soda
even though I have that stuff at home just to have
a friendly conversation with another person.

seem that I am on the other side of the universe
where people are noisy and never shut up, where its crowded, and they speak too loud. I would love to have some peace and quiet alone in the afternoon watching the sunshine with a compatible friend by my side. silently not needing to say a word, just loving the natural events that unfold.

It seems quiet even here..everyone looks glum and though it is sunny in the mornings..it is still gloomy and rains heavy in the evenings. Well, hope the sun comes out for you guys.

Bad news and cold do not make people very outgoing or friendly; a poor set of conditions for conversation, unfortunately.
Hope the cold spell breaks.

The gnomes are returning north...
I've seen a few Canada geese on their way, and they're rumored to be the G-nomes preferred airline....

let me make u laugh,
when i first moved to snow country up in colorado at 10k ft, i asked the dumbest question,,, i very sincerely looked at my boss who was showing me around on the first day, explaining that the small pond froze over during the winter and was used for ice skating, and broomball. when he finished talking i asked,,, 'uh, what about the ducks?? do they like hibernate under the plankwalk or what? I could just envision these poor creatures with their tiny webbed feet, frozen in the ice,,,,,, talk about dummies,, it never even crossed my mind when i see the birds that fly south down here in texas that it was those ducks and geese i was seeing.

Kabu, I think a lot of people are still adjusting to the time change, too..
I know it only involves an hour but it does make a difference (or maybe its just me)...its coolish here today, rain is forecast and we may hit 60F Thursday..

For goodness sake get those gnomes out Kabu, you will feel a lot better. They can't be very happy wherever you have poked them. Harden them off slowly. No one speaks very much these days unless one has a little gnome on a lead, well a puppy sometimes. These are the great ignore one another times or hide if one sees someone who will want to discuss ailments not yours of course. Now I'll tell you about mine,
