Spring is on it's way even if it hasn't sprung yet! Someone who likes the gnomes should like Spring. Good to still think of the squirrels and others.

Kabu, I wasn't any good at art either.....
I can't even draw convincing stick people....if I tried to draw a gnome, he'd probably end up looking like a mushroom..
..
can't wait to read more about them as you share your research with us..

Can't wait to see your Lilac in bloom... Here in FLorida, specially in the south we have to get used to many hues of green most of the time in lieu of flowers... Its just too hot for the delicate varieties, but we have some... Boganvilia and Geraniums seem to do well as do some roses, gardenias, Jasmines and Camilias. Can't wait for the Gnome tales :-) xoxoxo

Gnomes to replace their wayward cousins, the Demons! Good idea! Kabu, at Giant Tiger they sell non-slip safety snow walkers, rubber thingies that fit over any boot. Fantastic things - not expensive - I've been using them lately on my hill. And thanks for the write!!

There's some wisdom in writing for others but as I said to Wiley yesterday writing is also good for the soul. You seem so excited about spring's arrival. I too keep peaking a little green things popping up but they're still struggling. All in good time....

I was pretty surprised that it warmed up enough that all of our
snow and ice from previous days has melted.
I really do need to get outside and start digging up ground if I'm to have a garden this year like I expect to. Hopefully I will manage that soon.
