Furthering one's education is always a good idea
I am of the mind that degrees don't always matter as much as what is learned
and put into practice.

When in college, I never passed up the opportunity to take what was then
called the Mark Twain Workshop, an intensive 4-6 week daily class that covered poetry and fiction...there were published writers and speakers that came daily to share with us and it was an intense writing class...I took it every year for four years and loved it. I also managed to take every poetry class and credit available as a result.
