Ach things are fine and Blogit will pick up again when we do. LOL I enjoy those coffee's and conversation in the mornings before our feet hit the floor. At least they don't hit the floor running anymore. LOL

Very interesting indeed, Dear Kabu!
The strong sense of community sharing and caring is what has been lost. Glad the sun is brighter there..:)

I just saw a comment of yours (in Lustor's blog) where you said Blogit isn't much fun right now.  Well then, my dear, how can we spice it up??  I agree it's a little sleepy around here.

Now - between you and Pat_B today, and TAPS the other day, I've spun out of 2011 right into the past, hopping here and there, remembering a gazillion things that I haven't thought about for ages! Wonderful! There is a slight gap when it comes to the '60's, however...

This post brings me back to a couple sociology courses where we talked about "Keeping up with the Jones's," the competitive buying between families.

reading each other's memory tales or thoughts there of, takes me back
thru several lifetimes, so it seems.  Today it's nice and sunny...just washed the car and almost drove to see mom, then remembered, she's not here.

your memories sends my mind back to the good old times, when life seemed simplier and we didnt have money but we managed.

I was going to say something completely different but then I read Pat's trip down memory lane.  I want to go down her lane.  LOL

Memory Lane is often a sunny place,
with berries growing in easy reach on the fence row and contented cows chewing their cud and gazing soulfully at the horizon. Sometimes there's even a picnic basket and the companionship of a good dog.
