Kabu
Dear one you and Taps are cut of the cloth of nurses. You have all the love and joy that is so healing regardless of meds and proceedures. I love your posts I have missed them.

Full moon nights in the Emergency Room or ICU
Oh the sights! And drama, tragedy..and the triumphs of human spirits - both nursing and the fallen - that made every bit of it worthwhile..Thank you for the wonderful post, Kabu; you are one amazing Nurse!

Steeple jack, jockey, croupier, by any chance Kabu. I like nurses, I have found it pays to keep on the right side of them, I'm sure our Wiley will be alright if he is in bed with a trained nurse. Good job it's over. Keep warm

Interesting to read about your experiences as a nurse...I don't recall having read a blog where you discussed the ins and outs of your days there...Glad to read that Wiley is continuing to do well.

Glad Wiley is feeling better. That was real nursing, in those days, when we were all taught to be pleasant and courteous to patients and look after their every need. Now, that element of care sometimes seems to be sadly missing - and the food hasn't improved one jot!

Some hospitals are better than others: a lot of that is the nursing...
If I never see Nurse Judy again (the one who insisted I needed a laxative pill) it will be too soon.

I hate hospitals and their experience. I have bad experience with both of my parents. I only love it when I go there to see a new born. Hope every thing is going well. - Chuck

I have trouble leaving the equipment alone. LOL
It drives me nuts for an IV to be beeping and no one doing anything about it. Day before yesterday, I almost went looking for a blood-spill kit as no one was doing anything about it except almost stepping in it.

not being a nurse, I enjoyed your journey, it took me back to my
hospital experiences, interesting how a 'place' can trigger so many feelings.
