I never say anything about motors Kabu, Poor old Wiley he doesn't need this aggro. I would have thought it was all under guarantee for a year or so. It is understandable though you feel miffed. I hope you can arrange something. Keep your chin up.

They don't even know who they're messing with. This guy won't let up, and he won't go away...just one of the things we love about our Wiley!

Wiley is one of the great turtles of our time! I know how to deal with the PR crap. I will send you an e-mail on how to handle them! I am an expert in this one. I studied Paralegal studies for two semesters. Plus experience is a heck of a teacher! Good luck!

One needs certainty and trust with a car
I would just put it in those terms to them. Good luck

I suppose there is a warranty period that covers these incidences Kabu - I can imagine the loss of confidence and Wiley's fury.

I once had a Ford Tempo (years ago) that I really loved.
But it had a weird computer that had a tendency to stop in the middle of a busy intersection with no advance warning. And one headlight would go out, then the other, every three months. I finally had to trade it in on a used Toyota, which I owned for 13 years. I hope Tequila Sheila is the reliable car you can count on from now on. I know how much fun you were having until this incident.

These things take time, but I imagine that Wiley will stick it out. It's terrible how long the whole process can take.

Kabu, our temp has dropped and our snowfall has upped..lol..
around 8 inches the Detroit stations are saying, over 10c.m. per the Canadian network....thats two snowstorms for us in Feb. so far - more snow in one month than we usually get in an entire winter....
Wiley's probably already thought of this, maybe even done it, but companies like Ford hate "letter to the editor" in the newspaper...Wiley might want to give them a blast that way...they hate bad publicity....

Keep going
and don't give up - you will definitely win eventually; they just have to remember that the customer is always right - funny how companies tend to want to forget this.

I am somewhat like Wiley, but maybe not so snappy. My older daughters husband bought a brand new camaro and the transmission went out in it the first month. They just dont make cars like they use to

That's too bad about the car. WileyJohn must be a furious snapping turtle. And, your cold wind, oh my. Our temp dropped horribly in the last 24 hours, but nothing like what you have.
