worlds away, but, C.C., that one message I received along with
so many others, "Beam me up, Scotty. There's no intelligent life here" rings true....or maybe that is just my head ringing from walking into a decphering machine..

WEll of course Shobana some words are relayed back to me by my space doctor, but you know what a job it is to read their writing. Please don't worry

Re: Taps
Never mind Taps I expect sometime out in the future someone will ask so that is the sound of a listening station, but what is that other noise. My friend is the reply that is the sound of an Earth Woman's heavy breathing.

I liked the voice of the poem, it's fun to take that perspective and let the imagination flow! This was a fabulous read; it truly felt real! sam

I guess it's not future enough for me yet. The only messages I receive are sferics, tweeks and whistlers and I haven't yet learned to translate them into my way of life, even though I have spent some time in the past at VLA, Socorro, NM, space listening station.
I love your poem.
You have quite an imagination and way of expressing yourself in your poems.
