Re:
Well I imagined so Sam, but over the years I have seen a lot of women who wouldn't leave the house. Much better than Alzheimer's, but a very progressive phobia, perhaps better treatment is available now, perhaps it was the onset . Once people just wandered about in the villages with this disease and were accepted, of course earlier a fair few were probably treated if that is the right word as witches.

I did enjoy the interaction of youth and elderly! I couldn't help but think she had Alzheimer's! Am I off base on his? I got that from him taking flowers but she would never really know they were from him. And his atonement seemed to be for himself which I thought was poignant! Well done nonetheless! sam

I love it. Actually, I love communications between old persons and teens. It is just what both need to make/keep them human beings.

I like the imagery here ChCh --- the moss covered gates calls to me. I like that vision ~ I recall this piece of yours. It touched me then and it moves me now. Very dear poem here. All around, great writing... E.E.

Haunting and fascinating undertones, CC!
Good poetry/writing in general is about undertones, methinks, and this fits the bill..
