You definitely need an au pair Kabu or a comedienne or a bottle of wine or someone to write and tell you there misfortunes. Guess which I can do.

to everything there is a season, Kabu. And this is the cold, snowy, Winter one. It will pass as it does every year, so just enjoy the cabin while you can. When I'm chilled to my bones, I draw a very warm (sometimes hot) bath, settle into it for 10 minutes and I thaw right out.....Mal

It's like that here, too. Despite the fact it's warm in the house
I just felt the need to pile on the blanket. I'm half tempted to walk up to Coffee Heaven even though it's snowy and treacherous underfoot. I guess we're all in the same frame of mind when it comes to Cabin Fever.

There's a solution (if only a temporary one): a couple of weeks in Florida...I am seriously considering it...

Interesting analysis, Dear Kabu...
I have felt that waiting sensation because of my illness - waiting to see what happens with this treatment or that treatment, waiting for test results, waiting to be put on a waiting list!..:) I finally decided to start living again
today and let the future/fate both lie in wait for me, as they will do so anyway. And I'm enjoying every minute of it!
How sweet the cuddles; keep warm, my friend.

I've noticed that many are ready for spring as well. It can be tough getting through those cold winters.

Kabu, I think we all have a touch of cabin fever right now...
Its -13C here this afternoon and tonight is supposed to be the coldest night of winter so far....Our two cats are creatures of habit, too, especially Mickey....he has a nightly routine he thinks everyone should follow, and if we get things out of order at all, he howls his displeasure....and he thinks he owns the easy chair in the living room (he will literally race me for it at times).
