Hi sweet lady. You are doing the best you can. Are you going to an Alanon (don't know if spell is correct)? That will help with some methods of keeping yourself on an easier plane while trying to deal with her. I am continuing to pray as is my husband. Can you get her in church? Do you have a Celebrate Recovery program near you, this might help her. But the main thing is trying to stay healthy yourself and you are a wonderful woman to care for those children in such a good way. Thank you for the precious words you left on my blog.

You are a good mother! It is hard to be the 'perfect parent' all the time. Your reactions are quite normal. I hope things get better. It is important that we keep this faith, even when time are VERY bad. I just went through the most difficult 4 months of my life. I can only have the faith that the rest of the time will be better. My love and hugs.

I just dislike sounding like I've given up on her. I suppose I have, though, barring a miracle intervention from God. Thank you for the prayers.

Re: I can understand why you feel guilty for thinking that way
I can't say that I am surprized the program is overloaded--just like every other government run program. It would have been much better though if they had put her in immediately.

know and if daughter cannot break the habit, then yourselves and the little ones have to be considered. Your lives are important. It is all so sad I will continue to pray and yes the meds. do help.

I can understand why you feel guilty for thinking that way
But it seems you have a lot on your plate as it is and don't really need the added stress.
It's a shame that they couldn't get her into the treatment program sooner though. Maybe it would have done some good.
