Re-reading this beauty is so worthwhile!
I left this comment for you in my section, Dear Kabu; putting it here to make sure you see -  Please know I took no offense at being called Ash - a compliment actually, considering his fine work! Stay warm and creative..:)

One of my favorite movies is called A Fairytale...have you seen it? And
the BL is wearing grannie panties and scaring away the fairies as well as all the gremlins!

So sweet you are Kabu and that is quite a consolatory prayer..anyone would be fearless after hearing that.

What a nice grandmother, well you deserve to be let into a few secrets Kabu I have told you how fairies reproduce themselves, but if you have forgotten, I will let you know in in a sealed envelope.

Hmmmmm....I wonder if Rumpelstiltskin was a gnome.

If the Brothers Grimm had of hired you for doing their research, their book of fairy tales would probably have been much larger and more complete.  I don't remember any tales about gnomes in their collection of tales.

Kabu
Cute poem! And of course, we gotta keep our promises, even if that means I'll never know for sure where you got that broom...

Such a cute little poem this is. Those promises we make are so wonderful.

Your granddaughter is so lucky to have a fantastical and creative Grandma!  For lots of Fairy stories, try checking out my cousin, Jane Yolen.  She's written over 300 books and some of them about Fairies, elves and the like....Mal

Kabu, well if anyone would just take the time to listen and look
very closely, they'd see fairies everywhere, especially around bed time when it does get rather spooky....but imagination is the key....

Very special post Kabu. The bond between grand parents and the children is so special.
