As so often (not always, but often, LOL) you're so right...

well my Justi, I will take this all and ponder all the more.  I do appreciate your passion and its always full of such meat and thoughtfulness and thought period.  I'm 55 and I'm wanting to live to be 100 or more --- my Mamma always warned me of that - but yes, its a different world I'm finding - it's harder to me --- and the language and all --- yes, healthcare and the disrespect, my goodness I can't get over it...this gave me Love at the end however, yes, thankful for being with the one that we love and has accepted our 'age' and all that comes with it.  This is rich, Justi ~ write on!!! I thought of that as I wrote this. I am most fortunate. But our Father God said he would be our father, mother, husband what ever we need in times of loneliness. What he is saying here is he can make your life so full you will not feel alone. I am so sorry you are along. I love you sister...

Wise and true words Justi.  You are a lucky lady ... lucky because you have such a good soul and generous heart and lucky because you have that loving husband with whom to share them and embark  with into your daily adventures... May you live a long and happy life and may you always have each other darlin'... aging is to those who are alone a daunting and scary proposition.  Be well  xoxoxo

Oh I'm familiar with that thinking of yours luv and I'll be 75 in April. Our cat does the same to me too, tripping me up. God Bless you both.

I think it is exactly as you implied Justi - it is only when you are in it with regards to aging that you know how exactly it feels and cope accordingly. Your cat is cute too.

I find there to be plenty of new things to learn and experience with each passing year as well.

Every time I get a new AARP Magazine, the first thing I do is turn to the back page which is "Big 5-Oh" to see what celebs are getting old, how old, and how they have aged.  LOL
This month it's James Earl Jones at 80 and Carol Channing at 90.  Plus today is Betty White's 89th birthday.   Hey, I'm not old at all, am I.

LOL this is so funny and I am getting to know about this age thing myself

big Sis was 69 yesterday...well today here and she was a bit depressed when we spoke, I think she wants to put the brakes on for next year...but on and on time Marches.

I loved the ....."words I wouldn't say in my closet".......I could just see you grumbling over the brooms and buckets. I do love you.

Nice post
and I'm with you on forgetting names or even, in mid-sentence, what I was going on to say

Well I think it is better to have the extra sleep. My mother used to hardly sleep at all, and used to get up during the night and vaccuum... Just be glad you finally get to catch up on all the sleep you missed earlier on ha ha. I love to sleep, but it takes me ages to go to sleep even if I am exhausted, and then I hate getting up. I am a nine hours a night person for sleep but alas, I very rarely get nine hours... :( Well I hope you have a nice day, and lots of nice things happen to make you smile. Love Cheerygirl.

I am listening, and I am on my way to 65, and i want to know

what I can expect when I get there, cause maybe, just maybe I will listen.

btw: I am a health worker and I know a good few things that can make the day seem younger, as I healed myself of some horrid diseases, I learned a few things that make us feel and be older :) two major things I will post, inspired by your posting here, so look out for it cause here it will be before the end of the week :) ope it will make your day lighter, as it did mine
