Seeing that map there --- boggles my mind...YES, it is a very Large Country --- I'm amazed at the mass and of the property and acreage so free of people...hmmm ---

I tell you, this looks like a loverly land to live upon. I'm amazed more so now... Kabuski --- give me a hug ~ Connie Elyse

And now the wine is pretty good Kabu and the farms will increase in value, but one has to live a lifetime to see these things change. eventually land with water will rule you mark my words in fifty years time. Meantime you have lots where you are. It is all a bit sad in a way. Of course a lot of the convicts only stole a deer or a couple of pheasants not big stuff. My forebears would probably have been there if caught they liked to nab a few deer.

Things being as they are here in the states, I think
maybe South Australia is the place to be about now. Sunshine and birdsong couldn't hurt.

So good if you can keep these entertaining accounts of the land down under coming!! P.S. I have very little patience or talent for crafts, but thanks for trying. Stuffing envelopes, maybe am still watching and praying.

Kabu, Australia sounds just like Canada..:)
People out west loathe Ontario (and vice versa), but I think respect is still there, too...after all, Ontario pays most of the country's taxes...

..I believe you mentioned Adelaide was the capital? Would it be comparable to our Ottawa in size? The part of the country you've described here sounds like it would be a nice place to visit, but I'd probably find the heat too much..
