C.C. ...a sad but true part of life and growing up...
it doesn't always go as planned..but we live and learn by our mistakes....whimsical, the youthful tragedy of it all is still very much there.

I think the new boyfriend shaking the fist and a thrown shoe might be a good hint! Great imagery nonetheless! I have had a miserable headache today, I slept the day away to no avail and then had to take a very strong pain killer so if my comments don't make sense, it's about the meds! Christopher's flight was changed, he was at the airport in Boise at 5:00 am this morning and didn't arrive in Detroit until midnight their time! Poor kid! I washed my phone in the laundry on Monday and just got in touch with him this evening! I say, check those pockets and haste makes waste, I am guilty of both! However, I went to my carrier's sight, bought a refurbished phone for 10 bucks and if the damn thing would stay on I could say I made out like a bandit but not to this point! I am going to leave it on the charger for the night and see what tomorrow brings! I hope you are feeling better these days! If not, here's a blown kiss

that tingles when it makes its destination! lol sam

In a flock or a gang there is always the little outsider Kabu, we all know what it feels like.
Sadly also there is usually a bully which we would like to exterminate.

The death of true love can be an incredibly slow and painful process.

I hated those rejections but I learned in time it would have been better if I hadn't sought to win one of them so hard. A great poem my friend and I hope life finds you in good health again old chap.

Awe, howit can hurt, those early rejections......hated being dumped in the
summer time when the beach parties were in fullswing. It was terrible to be looking on from the wet sand while couples smooched in the shadows.

This is a fine re-write - and it is just as touching. The long for lost 'first' love is so real here...it reminds me of my youth. This is great writing, ChCh ~ Have a wonderful day. E.E.
