Kabu
It sounds like you had a bit too much of the rum that should have gone into the fruit cake...oh well, what the hell, I think I'll join ya...come here, Captain Morgan!

Cake Kabu
Nice poem Kabu it is good that you are feeling fruity again. Do you still put silver coins in your Christmas puddings,my Mum used to when we were kids and one little rat used to wait until he could see a coin before asking for seconds. I don't know if the coins were sterilised first, but I should not think so. Seems horrific now but I guess we were pretty immune to germs. Ill just run my finger round your basin now you have finished , just for old times sake

This is great I laughed, sang and ran to grab the pans away from the burning right along with you. It sounded and smelled too real. Oh this is a gift. I would love to taste your fruit cake. You are the best. Love You

Christmas cake.
What's your secret to a great fruit cake then Kabu? The one's i've tasted are usually very dry and taste like saw dust. I clearly haven't eaten one as nice as yours yet.

Fruitcake is much maligned, I like it just fine
with a dab of whipped cream, especially if it's made with pecans...
