The William Tell Overture is what that plays I am guessing as that's what
it says on it...

Cc - I found this info - this could be dated near 1890's (patent may show it if you can find the stamp which may be on the back of disc and somehow, I don't think it would fare well with this kind Gentleman if you wanted to disassemble  so not to suggest that) but wow...these are so awesomely unique.  (wonder what is the music that would play on this one?)  Just curious and you know, thank you for that Laurence Stephen Lowry name. Like the Norman Rockwell of England... I did not know and am intrigued.  Fabulous landscapes and yes, the stick people are even great gesture figures I find, certainly one to study...  How neat his nickname is: Laurie  --- this is so interesting --- thank you for that, always inspiring Cc ~ EE

Re:
Well I do have the name of the article on another photo I'll post it tomorrow. Lowry you must have heard of him did those matchstick people. This musical player looks old fashioned with little spirals when  I go back again I'll try and get a full picture. The old fella is friendly with me I have to prune his trees sometimes.

That Sam keeps jumping the gun E.E. I had to bribe my way into the old chaps front room . This is the type of thing I was telling you about once I had one but not like this I should have got a full-shot but it was dark in there and I wanted to show it up close. Tomorrow I will post a charming musical Box he had there with bells. I told him they should go in a museum.
