Mr. Graysome upset!
Such a lovely photo of Mr Graysome with his toys. What a beautiful cat.

My guess would be a bear or a raccoon. Bears stink & raccoons fight w/cats.

I would think it wise to proceed with caution until you know what it is. Mr G. may be turning into a guard cat! Saw the picture, loved the spiffy red car for you.

Perhaps another cat has taken up residence nearby.

It is a good idea to pay attention to Mr. G's wariness. Animals can sense things we don't. Or it could just be that something happened to him in the early winter before he was adopted by such a nice family...and he's remembering, or maybe something REALLY is out there. I always pay attention when my doggies get hyper.

Perhaps something frightened him once Kabu and he senses it outside, I can always smell a fox if it has been around. Kabu what is a mud room is it a kind of cellar? Try to keep warm.

hmmmm, now that would scare the beejeebers out of me. Poor Mr. Graysome --- awww - and I wonder - but yes, just y'all stay inside. I could send Simon up there...but then Mr. Graysome would not like that at all either. I just know it. C Elyse xoxoxo

Maybe he's just scared of the dark, what with the time change and all...

He could be one of our Smokey's relatives
She says not to worry, she is headed over now to help Mr. G kick some unknown critter butt! See she is ready for battle!
