CC ~ you are a pistol (as my old Grandpa used to say...) ! or she is, --- I think what a sweet gesture. Dotage ~ now that's too good of a word.
~ (I'd be curious to see if you can get these to bloom up again - miniatures seem to always be the richest - wonder if it is due to their size - they don't have to work so much to be so 'big'?) Ah, I think sometimes we could all learn something from nature, don't you think dear CC? ~ EE

These Roses are all miniature ones E.E. I find by putting them in larger pots one gets an increased size I bought two more yesterday from the flower seller who has a stall, I am going to cut them off when they finish flowering and hopefully they will sprout again. This is funny E,E, not too many will read it. The flower seller has an assistant a lady I don't know they all have blonde hair now. When I pay I always dip my hand into a plastic shopping bag where I keep my loose change and she always puts her hand under mine, little perks of the job I suppose. I could elaborate but I'm trying to be a gentleman in my dotage.

Oh my but these --- these roses are gorgeous. I love them all --- the bud to the full bloom. I don't know which opening I adore the most - I like to see the bud in its cloistered richness and then fluff to unfurl, I so enjoy the freedom of the petals in flair. However, I do think the depth of the rose fades with full show. At least nearer to its petal fall. I love this bouquet dear CC ~ thank you for gifting us all ~ EE
