Kids (and younger people in gen. say -fantastic things! ) The other day there was something on the history channel about the Panama Canal. -About all the years it took to construct it, the impossible amt. of materials used, the in today's terms -hundreds of billions of dollars it took to construc it - and the many-many lives lost. My much younger brother was watching that and seys: ' Why didn't they just build a road? ' His Idea was that ships would unload cargo on one side, trucks would drive it all to the other side to be loaded onto other waiting ships.Of course you'd need more ships, but otherwise -could that possibly be practical?

I love children, and I get such a kick out of the things they do and say. Too soon they grow up and become just another adult.
