I always remember being seated in a lovely restaurant one day, and ordering a crab salad. For some reason I was given this huge crab as is, claws and all on top of the salad. I had absolutely no idea what to do with it ha ha. My host and the others on the table were all looking at me, waiting for me to start eating, and so I called over the waiter and gave him a great big smile, and said "Can you compliment the chef for me on such a lovely meal." "Yes," He nodded. Then I smiled again and said "But could you ask him if he could help me out, and get the meat out of it, as otherwise I might have to put the crab on the table with me, and I'll order something extra for him. The waiter came back a little while later and the shell and everything had gone, and there was just the meat. I thanked the waiter and the waiter smiled, and said softly just load enough for me to hear: "This is another crab, the other one is dining with the chef."

Glad your allergies improved with the beautiful scenery and sea air. It sounds like the best of several worlds with the family visits and scenery and food. Your family knows how to entertain!

That is some blue water there. Sparking is right as you say...We don't have any water that looks like that in the Chesapeake.

Yes, love the picture, Kabu. It does sound like you had a great time (except for the allergies-giggled at the description of your nose!), and it is so nice to see loved ones after all those months.

I began some time ago to write a comment
but I began slobbering all over the keyboard as I read about the food and was afraid of damage and had to wait. Seriously that sounds like a wonderful meal. May you live the trip over and over without the stress of missing your Wiley as you write it up for us. Glad you had fun and glad you are home.
