Delicate moments, Justi. It's difficult trying to explain by saying just enough, but not too much. I made the decision to be very direct with my kids - it worked for me and for them. I have a friend who tried the same thing, but she was not comfortable herself when discussing those subjects. It came out all wrong and made things embarrassing for all concerned..which was worse. I guess one just has to play it by ear.

I agree, in Australia they are twleve before they mix with older pupils
but then they are in school with adults up to 17-18. and that too is wrong.
My little Granddaughter at 12 thinks all that boy girl stuff like kissing is just disgusting. She is so well grounded and too busy to think what with dance and ballet and gymnastics and keyboard and netball. Tires me just to think of it all.
