ok I don't know but I am thinking this is one blog from the other but I am confused, but I guess I was one of those three who thought you should leave the politics to the politicians and the religion to those who think they know the word. Just my opinion

YOU LIKE MY HAT?
SeeDumb or Dunce of the day and you will see my name near by. I can wear any of the hats one wants to give out about those people who don't think first and act second.
I am short and nobody has told me not even my mirror that my mouth is too wide for my face, but I think it is. I can get both my feet in it before I can say why. I can still run with them in there too.
Last Sunday or the one last week I was puttering 'round in the kitchen after George had gone to bed. I have a fairly large window over the sink. Just outside that window hangs large long wind chimes. Suddenly I saw just a flicker of light bounce off them. Not a really big deal since I live downtown there are street lights all over and both the Catholic and Presbyterian churches behind me leave big lights on at night, it is not pitch dark. But what blew it for me was the next thing I knew a hugh flash light was shinning right in my face and me in my own kitchen.
Now this is one of those dunce moments. Before I could think I ran to the door opened it and said in a not kind voice. Who are you? What do you want? The man did not speak only looked at me, as was deserving, you know like I was some sort of idiot and I saw the badge on his pocket. I closed the door realizing he was looking for someone I didn't need to encounter. I had enough sense to feel stupid.
We don't have a T.V. station and a news paper from our own town that is only published two times a week. Well Wednesday paper came and I read right on the front page that someone had robbed the service station down the street, shot a man and took the clerk hostage. They were searching all the houses or yards around. They did get a bead on him and the police dog chased him to the City Cemetery where he has not been seen since. Does anybody know the name of any stupid pills? I need a bunch.

Good for you Justi! I have to agree with Bel in that what you do so well is not only your right but your duty as an American. The fact that many of us are not e quiped or do not have the guts to take others on by speaking of subjects that are difficult or unpopular does not mean that people like you who do should be tormented and those who as CC says talk down to you should realize that they are going against what has made this country of ours as great as it is. I am very proud of you sweetie xoxoxo

That's right Justi toss your hat up in the air on this blog have a good laugh. I don't really mind what you write because my views probably seem weird to some folk. I never read the religious blog ot political because I have never studied either and I don't like seeing you being talked down to. So have a little bit of love and respect on this site I suspect we all miss your happy side

I am glad you are back. As most around here know, I don't engage in religion or politics. Not because I don't have strong opinions but because I do.
I learned in the time Carl was in Iraq, that debating such issues only proved to leave me upset as when all is said and done there are few of us who will change our opinions on such topics but there are many who will verbally assault for the same topics.
I had to many viscous comments made not just here but to my face during Carl's deployment and since then I refuse to have the conversation with anyone but what I will say on the topic is this:
My family has paid a dear price in belief of basic freedoms. Freedom of speech is most certainly at the top of that list. It is not only our right (not matter what political party or religious affiliation) to speak out when we feel it matters it is our responsibility and duty to do so for those who still can't express themselves without fear of retribution. I may not comment on the subjects but know that I will always support your choice and right to do so.
May God not only bless America but all of the world and most certainly may he bless you as you have blessed so many of us with your loving heart.
