A tale of horrible things. Do you really think the USA is heading there, Justi? I have the feeling that the stalwart Americans would never allow it to come to that.

Well Just I have seen german prisoners and Italian shipped to England they were just the poor old gun fodder chaps, thanking their lucky stars that they were here. I don't think they wanted to fight, but everyone gets screwed up in wars the evil become more evil and the ordinary good guys get pulled in by the system.

I have to agree with you, I have been observing the use of the media in politics in both the US and the UK and there re startling similarities with Hitler's early work

It is amazing what horrible things a person can survive, and it is horrible to think about those who do not live through their suffering.

That is so right. I lived through the time over here and saw how proud out citizens were of our military, how they took care of them. It was awesome.

It's always amazing to see the perspective
of someone who has "been there; done that" in ways that most of us can't even begin to grasp.
