Now this is like a creamy strawberry fizzle drink - or an italian soda swirl.  It's STUNNING - I know you must walk in on these lovelies in the morning and just simply be touched by awe and wonder and beauty and warmth ... I tell you CC - what I would do for a 'greenhouse' and I just simply must be 'patient' - I'm not good at this.  but I appreciate your sharing because it simply blesses my heart. (if I may be as a 'southern' gal now...LOL) EE

Re: Sam
Yes Sam I remember you saying you were gathering some seed. A lot of seed is hybrid now and not like the old varieties which most people used to save, so it will be interesting. I grow most of my plants in pots, but it is an expensive way I suppose. The trouble is now restrictions in the use of Peat I always used to use Irish Moss. The black sedge peat is messy stuff. The companies have to include composted material and it has made it more difficult to choose a good source. I know what it's like waiting for them to open.

I noticed the foliage, too! I liked how the white accentuates it as well! I was out and about in my flower beds today and finally the marigold that I took, seeds that is, from the baseball park in Seattle, Washington, USA is going to finally bloom! I don't know if I got them in too late or I have awful soil in my yard! It is going to get plenty of compost come fall and spring! The buds on the flower reminded me of all that! I can't wait to see it open up! A taste of spring in the fall so to speak! sam
