Hi Sam a yellow rose always looks nice I think. I do hope my pinks come out before the season stops them, I would love to show you some of them, but I think your climate would be more suitable for carnations.

Thank you, If you can't remember, you have a kind mind. Actually this is one of those roses that one gets in small pots about five stems just stuck in, I don't know how it's done, but I found this year by transplanting them wholesale into bigger pots, it increases the size and is a bit of fun. Some are blooming nearly as large as a garden rose. The advantage with this is they don't take up much room although I keep these under a shelter with a transparent roof because I think they may be less hardy.

Fabulous photo. We have a rose just like it in our back garden (well, our back pocket handkerchief, actually) which has just come into bloom again for the second time this year.
BTW, I don't remember you ever saying anything to upset me! Always enjoy your posts.

No pleasure driving these days E.E. today I sometimes take my car out for a run around just to keep it loose. If I can hit it right I can ride around country lanes that haven't changed much, it is a bit nostalgic until someone comes charging along and one has to move faster as it is quite dangerous to let people overtake on winding roads as you know. Drive carefully.

I am here --- in the hill country...and yes, must get my goodies tagged for my shop's sale. I'm dilly dallying, enjoying the time to 'set a spell'. I tell you those hours of driving get me more tired lately. I have ways of counting the hours and miles but yesterday - I was sleepy due to the overcast skies. EE
