It's very nice to be appreciated my friend, even if what gets posted isn't always my own, original work. My boss sent me this one this morning, and I figured that others would get a kick out knowing the sources for the mystifying old saws, whose origin always left me wondering where, such odd sayings came from, and what they meant, too.

Heck, I grew up knowing all this stuff. We had big books out in the two holer we could read lots of stuff. Great post but it's Piss Poor you haven't been here more.Welcome my friend.
